Intellectual Property Policy
Version of October 8, 2026 · In force from October 8, 2026
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Syntax AI is operated by [Legal entity OÜ], registration code [00000000], [Street 1], [10111] Tallinn, Estonia. Details are on the Company information page.
This policy explains who owns what on Syntax AI: the platform itself, the prompts and files you give us, and the results our AI tools produce. It also explains how to report content that infringes your copyright. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. Our rights in the platform
The website, software, design, logos, texts, and the Syntax AI name belong to [Legal entity OÜ] or our licensors. You may use the platform to create content for yourself under our Terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or scrape the platform, or use our name and logos without our written permission.
3. Your prompts and uploads
You keep all rights you have in your prompts, uploaded images, audio, code and other files.
When you submit content, you confirm that:
- you own it or have permission to use it this way;
- it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or image rights;
- if it shows or uses the face or voice of a real person, that person has given consent.
Content that breaks these rules or our Acceptable Use Policy may be blocked or removed.
4. Outputs and how you may use them
Outputs are the images, video, audio and code created for you on Syntax AI. Within the limits of the law, you may use your outputs, including for commercial purposes, subject to:
- these terms and our Acceptable Use Policy;
- the terms of the AI model providers that produced the output (see Service Information);
- the rights of other people.
AI outputs may be similar to existing works, and in some countries they may not be protected by copyright. Check each result before you publish it or use it commercially. Where the law requires, disclose that content was made with AI. More details are in our AI Transparency notice.
5. The licence you grant us
To run the service, we need a limited right to handle your content. You grant [Legal entity OÜ] a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, transmit and display your prompts, uploads and outputs only to:
- provide the service to you, including sending content to AI model providers;
- check content for prohibited material (moderation);
- meet our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not use your content to train our own AI models. We do not publish your content without your permission. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except where we must keep it by law.
6. Copyright complaints and takedown
If you believe content on Syntax AI infringes your copyright, email support@syntax-ai.example with the subject "Copyright notice". Include:
- a description of the work you believe is infringed;
- where the content is on Syntax AI: a URL or the job or content ID;
- your name, address, email and phone number;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law;
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
We review each notice and remove or disable access to infringing content. We inform the user whose content was removed.
7. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, or you have the right to use it, email support@syntax-ai.example with the subject "Counter-notice". Include the content ID, an explanation of why the removal was wrong, and your contact details. We review it and may restore the content or forward your counter-notice to the person who complained.
8. Repeat infringers
We suspend or close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others. Questions about this policy go to support@syntax-ai.example.
