Payment and Credits Policy

Syntax AI is provided by [Legal entity OÜ], registration code [00000000], [Street 1], [10111] Tallinn, Estonia. Full details are on the Company information page.

This policy explains how you buy Credits, how they are charged for AI runs and what happens to them over time. It is part of the Terms of Use.

Credits are internal units you use to pay for AI operations in Syntax AI: images, video, audio and code.

• Credits are not money, not e-money and not a loan.
• They have no value outside Syntax AI.
• Packs may include bonus Credits on top of the base amount.

• Credits are sold in packs or as a custom amount. The current rate and packs are on the Pricing page.
• Prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT.
• You pay by card through our payment provider [Payment provider], on its payment page. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment with 3-D Secure.
• Card data is processed by [Payment provider]. We never see or store your card number.
• Each purchase is one-time. It is not a subscription, and nothing renews automatically.

At checkout you ask us to start the service immediately. You acknowledge that once Credits are delivered, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)). Your refund options are described in section 8.

Credits are added to your balance after [Payment provider] confirms the payment. This usually takes a few moments. If the payment fails or is cancelled, no Credits are added and you are not charged.

1. Before you start a run, its price is shown on the Create button.
2. When you start the run, that amount is reserved on your balance.
3. If the run succeeds, the reserved amount is debited.
4. If the run fails or is blocked by moderation, the reservation is released and you are not charged.

Chat in the code module is charged by actual usage. The amount reserved is shown before you send a message.

• Credits do not expire while your account is active.
• When you delete your account, remaining Credits are cancelled.
• Credits cannot be transferred to another user.
• Credits cannot be exchanged for cash.

After each purchase you get a receipt by email. All receipts are also available in your account under Billing. Your bank statement shows the payment as [SYNTAXAI].

You can ask for a refund of unused Credits from a purchase within [N] days of that purchase. Write to payments@syntax-ai.example. A partial refund takes back base and bonus Credits in proportion. Full rules are in the Refund Policy.

If something is wrong with a payment, please contact us before you open a dispute with your bank. While a dispute is open, purchases on your account may be frozen, and disputed Credits may be reversed. This does not limit your right to dispute a card payment.
